Wild tribes

Kobolds live in packs on the surface. A pack has a leader: she lights a campfire and the rest lie down around it. At night the tribe sleeps until morning, but they wake up if you hit one of them.

Your own tribe

There are two ways to get a tribe of your own:

• Craft a Kobold Tribe Egg: four chicken eggs in a cross around a diamond. Place the egg on a block and a new tribe appears with a queen at its head, and you become their master.
• Tame a wild tribe: give it a name. A nameless wild tribe goes to whoever names it.

Each player can only have one tribe.

The Dragon Staff

The master’s main tool. Crafted in a column: an end crystal on top, a block of gold below it and a stick at the bottom.

Hold right-click with the staff and a radial menu opens. Point at an option and let go:

• Follow. Toggles whether the tribe follows you.
• Work. Look at a log and a kobold chops down the whole tree. Look at stone and she digs a 3×3 tunnel 20 blocks long. If the block is already queued, this option cancels the task.
• Bed and chest. Give a bed or a chest to the tribe. Kobolds sleep in the beds at night and store their loot in the chests.
• Search. The staff points in the direction of your tribe’s kobolds.

Tribe beds are outlined blue and chests green.

Work

Each task is taken by one kobold who sees it through. If her inventory is full and the tribe has no free chests, she says so in chat. She also tells you if she can’t reach a block.

Defence

If someone hits a kobold while you’re not around, the tribe attacks the attacker and you get a “Your tribe is under attack!” message. If the leader dies, another kobold takes her place.

Scenes

Right-clicking a kobold opens her menu:

• Your own kobolds: anal, oral and mating press, for free.
• Someone else’s: anal for 3 gold ingots, oral for 1 wooden pickaxe.

After mating the kobold lays an egg. In 10 minutes a new kobold hatches from it and joins your tribe.

Morph

You can turn into a kobold with a Horny Potion.
